Madalena Reis is a cultural manager, currently serving as Advisor to the Board of Directors at Fundação Centro Cultural de Belém in Lisbon, where she has previously held positions as Director of Marketing and Development and as a member of the Board of Directors.
She is a member of the Board of Trustees of Fundação Millenniumbcp and also serves on the Board of Patrons of Fundação Arpad Szenes-Vieira da Silva.
She was part of the editorial team of L+arte Magazine and has a professional background linked to cultural institutions, notably the National Museum of Ancient Art and Casa das Histórias Paula Rego in Cascais. She has maintained close collaboration with Fundação Abel e João de Lacerda – Museu do Caramulo from 2002 to the present.
She holds a degree in Art History from Universidade Nova de Lisboa and attended the Master’s program in Curatorial Studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Lisbon. In 2019, she completed the PDE | Business Management Program at AESE Business School, and in 2024, the Governance and ESG Program at Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
